Skills for Life - English and Maths

You can use your Skills for Life course to help you achieve a nationally recognised Certificate in Adult Literacy or Numeracy. The qualifications that you can get are:

Certificate in Adult Literacy Level 1
Certificate in Adult Literacy Level 2

Certificate in Adult Numeracy Level 1
Certificate in Adult Numeracy Level 2

To get a Certificate, you need to pass a short test. It's multiple choice, only 40 questions long and you take it on a computer so you can answer the questions at the touch of a button. You can take the test here at Amethyst.

National Certificates are a gateway qualification into jobs in schools, the NHS, councils, fire service etc.

Literacy
